What is SPC Flooring
SPC flooring is also known as stone plastic composite vinyl flooring. In fact, it uses two meanings interchangeably, respectively stone plastic composite or stone polymer composite. This refers to the make-up of the core. This type of flooring is an engineered luxury vinyl that combines limestone with stabilizers in order to have a very durable core. As a result, the rigid core is pretty much indestructible, which is what makes it as unique as it is.

1. Waterproof and Damp-proof
As the main component of SPC is stone powder, it performs well with water, and mildew will not occur under high humidity.
2. Fire Retardant
According to authorities, 95% of fire victims were burned due to toxic fumes and gases. SPC flooring has a fire rating of CLASS B: flame-retardant, non-spontaneous combustion, extinguishes automatically within 5 seconds, and does not produce toxic gases.
3. No Formaldehyde
SPC is made from high-quality stone powder and PVC resin, without harmful substances such as benzene, formaldehyde, or heavy metals.
4. No Heavy Metal, No Lead Salt
The stabilizer used in SPC is calcium zinc; it contains no lead salts or heavy metals.
5. Dimensionally Stable
Exposed to 80°C for 6 hours—shrinkage ≤ 0.1%; curling ≤ 0.2 mm.
6. High Abrasion Resistance
SPC flooring features a transparent wear-resistant layer with a rotation life exceeding 10,000 cycles.
7. Superfine Anti-slipping
SPC flooring incorporates a specialized skid-resistant and wear-resistant layer. Compared to conventional flooring, SPC offers higher friction when wet.
8. Low Subfloor Requirement
Compared to traditional LVT, SPC flooring has a distinct advantage due to its rigid core, which can conceal many subfloor imperfections.
