PS Wall Panel Common FAQs Before Order
This FAQ covers the full product information of fluted PS wall panels, including material characteristics, environmental performance, technical parameters, customization policy, MOQ, production lead time, installation, quality control, packaging and after-sales service. All answers are based on factory standard specifications and actual export conditions, providing accurate and professional reference for customer inquiry, project quotation and bulk order cooperation.
The core material is polystyrene (PS), produced from virgin modified plastic granules through extrusion molding, without wood powder or calcium powder fillers.
Differences:
WPC (Wood Plastic Composite): contains wood fiber, which is prone to moisture absorption and mold growth.
PVC panels: usually filled with calcium powder, making them heavier, more brittle, and prone to yellowing over time.
PU panels: made of foamed polyurethane, which is soft and not suitable for rigid grille structures.
PS grille panels are lightweight, highly flexible, free of wood powder, and offer far superior stability compared to other materials.
Yes, they are highly eco-friendly. The material is made of virgin food-grade modified PS granules, free from formaldehyde, benzene, and heavy metals. They pass standard environmental tests, have no odor, and are safe for residential, commercial, and enclosed indoor spaces.
PS panels are made of plastic-based material, so they are naturally waterproof and moisture-resistant. They do not absorb water, do not return moisture, and do not mold, making them suitable for humid environments.
The standard fire rating is B1-level flame retardant (customizable to higher grades). They are self-extinguishing when removed from fire, non-flammable, and do not support flame propagation.
PS grille panels are mainly designed for indoor decoration and are suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Most standard products are not recommended for long-term direct outdoor sunlight exposure. However, UV-resistant and weather-resistant laminated versions can be used outdoors.
Our PS grille panels use high-end laminated surface technology, providing a refined texture with no cheap plastic appearance.
For normal indoor use, they are long-lasting, with no fading or yellowing. Outdoor-grade versions are designed to resist UV exposure and aging.
Yes, full customization is supported, including color, texture, width, length, and thickness to meet different design requirements. We offer both OEM and ODM services. Custom molds can be developed based on drawings or design files. For detailed customization costs, please contact our sales team.
The standard MOQ is one full container load (1 x 40HQ container). Different colors and styles can be mixed within one container. The minimum order per single design is 10 cartons, allowing flexible mixed-loading for multiple product types.
Yes, samples are available. Due to differences in photography equipment and display screens, slight color variations may occur between images and actual products.
We can provide color swatches, small samples, or full-size panels for confirmation of color, texture, and dimensions before mass production to minimize deviation risks. Sample fees can be discussed with our sales representatives.
Yes. We use standardized molds and fixed formulations, ensuring high consistency between production batches. For specially customized colors or finishes requiring zero color variation between batches, pre-approved samples can be retained for reference. Dimensional tolerances are strictly controlled, ensuring flat, stable panels without warping.
Before production starts, parameters, styles, and colors can be modified free of charge. Once production or material cutting has begun, the order cannot be modified, and production will proceed according to the current manufacturing progress.
Fast-moving styles are kept in stock for quick delivery. Customized products generally require about 15 days production time before shipment. Our factory has sufficient production capacity, supporting long-term stable reorders and large-volume export supply.
For standardized mass production, batch-to-batch color variation is extremely minimal and generally not visually noticeable. For zero color difference requirements, we can produce strictly according to a sealed approved sample to ensure full consistency.
- Can the PS wall panels be installed directly? What is the installation method and edge finishing? Are installation guides available?
Yes, they can be installed directly onto bare walls without backboarding. However, the wall surface must be flat and clean, free of dust and debris, to ensure proper adhesion and prevent detachment.
Common installation methods include nail-free adhesive or structural adhesive, ensuring firm bonding without cracking. We also provide complete installation videos, drawings, and step-by-step guides.
The surface is dense and non-porous, making it resistant to dust accumulation. It can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
The material is scratch-resistant, moisture-resistant, and wear-resistant, with stable structure. Under normal indoor temperature conditions, long-term use will not cause deformation or warping.
We use reinforced moisture-proof packaging with thickened cartons and cushioning foam to ensure minimal risk of damage during transportation.
Color consistency is maintained through sealed sample-based production, ensuring high similarity with approved samples. Dimensions are strictly controlled within tolerance standards, with no noticeable warping or size deviation.
Our PS wall panels feature environmental friendliness, waterproof & moistureproof performance, stable quality, elegant appearance and easy installation. With flexible customization rules, stable lead time and reliable after-sales service, our products are widely applicable for residential decoration, commercial space renovation and engineering projects. We support long-term cooperative supply and global bulk order cooperation, and welcome customers to inquire, sample and place orders.
